Dear ILTS Member:
This is an exciting time for ILTS as our society has grown and we are a recognized leader in the field of liver transplantation. Our new interactive website provides a rich resource of educational material and I encourage you to visit it as a valuable asset of membership. The lectureship initiative in countries with emerging transplant programs and the formation of a Vanguard group for younger ILTS members are just some of our recent activities.
We are encouraging all ILTS members to consider submitting their name for consideration by the Nominating Committee to fill seats on the ILTS council. The term of office is 4 years and begins in June, 2011. We hold two Council meetings per year.
The Nominations Committee seeks to maintain a balance of area of specialty, geographic region and gender. The nominations committee will review all submissions and recommend a slate to the ILTS Council for approval.
You may nominate yourself or someone else. Please obtain permission before nominating someone. You must include a short CV or BIOSKETCH and a signed disclosure form. These should be sent via email to:
