Meeting Overview
The eighth annual Congress of the ILTS was held June 13-15, 2002 at the Chicago Sheraton hotel. About 475 registrants attended--this was well below the 800+ that came last year to Berlin. For the third consecutive year, Fujisawa supported a full day, pre-meeting symposium this time dedicated to "Use of Marginal/Expanded Donor in Liver Transplantation." Content of this symposium will be available on CD-ROM through Fujisawa representatives. Roche and Novartis also supported early morning satellite symposia. An evening dinner/dance was enjoyed on the cruise ship Odyssey as the social highlight of the meeting.
