Functional Committees

Awards Committee (permanent)

Aims: (1) oversee the selection process that takes place within the committees relevant to each award and ensure a fair and balanced evaluation of all applications; (2) present a final selection to be approved by the president-elect.

Members: Chairs of Basic & Translational Research, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Education & Scholarship, Vanguard Committees, ILTS Secretary, and President-Elect.

Nominating Committee (permanent)

Aims: determine the procedure under which elections should be conducted and ensure they comply with ILTS bylaws, policies and guidelines, review received nominations and compile slates for each Council and Executive Committee vacancy to be voted on by the Council at the Winter Council Meeting.

Members: ILTS Past-President (chair), President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Senior Councilor appointed by the President and Chair of the Vanguard Committee.

Finance Committee (permanent)

Aims: (1) oversee the management of investment accounts; (2) maintain relationships with ILTS banking institutions; (3) provide financial oversight.
