Learning objectives:

This session aims to introduce the current concepts of the ALPPS Procedure (Associating Liver Partition with Portal Vein Ligation for Staged Hepatectomy) discussing the evolution of the procedure, indications, current techniques and outcomes. A final presentation will be linking the ALPPS procedure to liver transplantation that is Rapid Procedure.   Each invited speaker, an expert with the procedure, will give insights to the topics which will be followed by a discussion of the presentations by the international expert panel.
