Overview

Learning objectives:

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has significantly impacted the care of patients with liver diseases since the beginning of the pandemic. Many healthcare systems are still overwhelmed with this. The aims of this symposium are:   1) To manage HBV-related cirrhosis and its complications. 2) To evaluate whether the patient is candidate for LT, and to determine how to bridge to LT in view of the development of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). 3) To manage HBV-infected recipients following LT.   Varvara Kirchner (United States) Zeki Karasu (Turkey)   Click here to view this session in the congress program.
