The theme for this year is “ Strengthening the Basics, Embracing Advances in Nephrology”, a theme that reflects the critical need for all physicians to have a good knowledge base in common nephrology problems. We are branching out to collaborate with our colleagues from other regional nephrology societies as well as primary care. Our nation is fast-developing, and we also need to embrace advances in nephrology including dialysis technologies, transplantation and data science in order to prevent and treat CKD more effectively. It is our hope that this Congress will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, promotion of local research, networking, and updating of knowledge.
