On April 15-16th 2019 the first Combined Workshop on Thoracic and Abdominal Organ perfusion for Transplantation will be organized by the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam.
The course will focus on European transplant surgeons that are interested in performing organ perfusion, either hypothermic or normothermic. Machine perfusion is entering an exciting new era with hopeful results from the first clinical trials. We strongly believe in synergy and underlying common grounds of organ injury and repair, so the course will address both abdominal and thoracic organ transplantation and aims to harbor 20-25 attendants.
