Speaker Details
Mansi Sanghavi M.B.B.S
Mansi R. Sanghvi, M.B.B.S is a multi-organ abdominal transplant and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery fellow at Houston Methodist Hospital and an American Board of Surgery certified general surgeon. Her clinical training includes liver transplantation, kidney transplantation, pancreas transplantation, laparoscopic surgery for kidney donors as well deceased donor procurements. Dr. Sanghvi completed her medical degree at BJ Medical College, Gujarat, India, her general surgery residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, NY and currently doing her fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital (2022-2024). She is also certified in Transmedics Machine Perfusion of deceased donor livers. Her research efforts are primarily directed towards DCD organ utilization in liver transplants.
Mark L. Sturdevant MD
Dr. Mark L. Sturdevant MD is an multi-organ transplant and hepatobiliary surgeon at the University of Washington-Seattle and serves as the Surgical Director of Liver Transplantation and the Living Donor Liver Transplant Program. His clinical focus centers on adult and pediatric liver transplantation and his research interests include LDLT and the use of minimally invasive donor hepatectomy.

Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Critical Care, Baylor College of Medicine. Director of Pediatric Liver ICU, Texas Children's Hospital.
Jiang Liu
Jiang Liu graduated from Nankai University and obtained the MBBS and MS degrees in 2013. Then he joined the liver transplant research team led by Prof. Chung-Mau Lo and Prof. Kwan Man at Department of Surgery of the University of Hong Kong. He completed the post-graduate research training (under supervisions by Prof. CM Lo and Prof. K Man) and earned the PhD degree in 2018 after defending his thesis titled “The role of mitochondrial regulation in graft injury after liver transplantation”. He then continued the post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Hong Kong for further translational and basic research on post-transplant acute complications as well as on preclinical hepatocellular carcinoma treatment using micro-scale biomaterials.
