The fellowship is aimed at physicians with a specialty in Gastroenterology or Hepatology.
The program consists of hepatology rounds with a mentor, observing complex liver treatments, participating in medical meetings, observing and participating in daily clinic rounds along with other hepatologists, transplant surgeons, nurses, assistants and the entire medical support team.
Purpose of the Fellowship:
- To gain a broad understanding of liver disease, with the ability to recognize, diagnose and treat all types of routinely observed liver diseases.
- Gain an understanding of how outpatient hepatology clinics and hospital-based hepatology and liver transplant services operate.
- To have the opportunity to observe the research experience in hepatology.
Candidate should submit by March 15, 2024:
- A curriculum vitae
- Letter of motivation (max. 350 words)
- 2 Letters of recommendation (E.g. Local Association and/or workplace)
- Copy of medical degree
- Copy of medical license
- Copy of passport with U.S. visa
- Vaccination record (if required)
- TB test
- Health insurance (mandatory once the fellowship is approved)
