ILTS Global Liver Transplant Mentorship (GLTM) Program

The ILTS-Global Liver Transplant Mentorship (GLTM) programme aims to bridge the training gap by establishing a comprehensive, globally accessible mentorship platform tailored for liver transplant professionals. Aims of the program are inclusive but not limited to;
- Virtual Mentorship Network: Create a robust virtual mentorship network connecting experienced transplant professionals with budding professionals across the globe.
- Research Collaboration: Foster collaborative research initiatives by connecting professionals with similar research interests, thereby accelerating advancements in the field of liver transplantation.
- Enhance connection among liver transplant providers with different expertise, and different training backgrounds and different needs.
- The GLTM programme aspires to elevate the standard of care worldwide, foster collaboration and innovation, and ultimately, improve patient outcomes across the globe.
Areas for mentor mentee matches:
- Transplant surgery
- Hepatology
- Anesthesiology
- Other
Sections:
Overall academic development, research (clinical/basic) Networking, Life work balance.
Mentor criteria:
Anyone has been in the field >10 years post training or Associate Professor level or above.
Mentee criteria:
Priority will be given to the applicants who are within 5 years completion of their training.
