ILTS Global Liver Transplant Mentorship (GLTM) Program

The ILTS-Global Liver Transplant Mentorship (GLTM) programme aims to bridge the training gap by establishing a comprehensive, globally accessible mentorship platform tailored for liver transplant professionals. Aims of the program are inclusive but not limited to;

  1. Virtual Mentorship Network: Create a robust virtual mentorship network connecting experienced transplant professionals with budding professionals across the globe.
  2. Research Collaboration: Foster collaborative research initiatives by connecting professionals with similar research interests, thereby accelerating advancements in the field of liver transplantation.
  3. Enhance connection among liver transplant providers with different expertise, and different training backgrounds and different needs. 
  4. The GLTM programme aspires to elevate the standard of care worldwide, foster collaboration and innovation, and ultimately, improve patient outcomes across the globe.

  • Transplant surgery
  • Hepatology
  • Anesthesiology
  • Other

Sections:

Overall academic development, research (clinical/basic) Networking, Life work balance.

Mentor criteria:

Anyone has been in the field >10 years post training or Associate Professor level or above.

Mentee criteria:

Priority will be given to the applicants who are within 5 years completion of their training.
