The ILTS Consensus Conference on DCD, Liver Preservation & Machine Perfusion took place in Venice, Italy, on January 31, 2020, and attracted more than 150 experts and delegates from around the world. It was organized and hosted by members of the ILTS Liver Preservation Special Interest Group, coordinated by Amelia J. Hessheimer and Marit Kalisvaart. An acclaimed international faculty reviewed recent progress in the field, and six key topics were discussed in working groups. Consensus statements will be submitted for publication in the society’s official journal Transplantation. Conference presentations are available to ILTS members now under Education / Surgery.
