In 2019, the ILTS Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee distributed a survey to understand the gender distribution in leadership positions among liver transplantation physicians worldwide and within ILTS. This analysis highlighted existing disparities and provided a starting point for promoting and achieving gender equality and equity in LT.
