New ILTS Award – In Memory of Paolo Muiesan
The Paolo Muiesan Clinical Science Established Investigator Award recognizes members for their academic contributions.
In March 2022, ILTS lost one of its indefatigable Council members, Professor Paolo Muiesan (1961-2022). He was an accomplished surgeon, a brilliant academician, and a dependable colleague, internationally recognized for his outstanding contributions to liver transplantation.
Paulo is held up as an inspiration to others who want to continue pioneering in the field of clinical science. In memory of his outstanding legacy, ILTS is announcing a new award:
The Paolo Muiesan Clinical Science Established Investigator Award will recognize senior career members for their academic contributions to clinical science research and for upholding the values of collaboration and excellence.
